Specially engineered airflow technology of the new Rem 3700 Grain VAC offers higher capacity over previous models, especially at longer distances from the grain source. The Rem 3700 is rated at 10,000 bushels per hour on full bin load-out and is rated at 4,000 to 5,000 bushels per hour with 50 feet of hose. The machine weighs 4700 pounds with a tongue weight of 350 pounds. The new Torflex rubber-torsion axles make the Rem 3700 easy to tow at highway speeds. Rubber-torsion idlers are an added advantage to gear-drive and belt-drive components; they are both smoother running and easier to maintain.

 

The main component of the new airflow technology is the use of a multi-stage fan system. Due to increased airflow and PSI, the Rem 3700 is able to achieve high capacity in differing situations. Additionally, the engineered airflow technology dramatically reduces the noise volume and pitch. The airflow technology is controlled by an automatic or manually adjustable air throttle. This air throttle regulates the airflow needed for optimum vacuum performance and horsepower requirement. When adjusted manually, the air throttle can be locked in various positions in order to regulate air flow; the amount of air flow needed will vary for the grain conditions. The air throttle will regulate the horsepower required to reduce engine load on the tractor and drive components.

 

The Rem 3700 Grain VAC comes standard with 55 feet of hose and attachments. This amount of hose length has proved to cover most application needs. Rem has also ensured that the 3700 will easily reach into even the largest grain carts with an auger height of 15 feet. Another excellent use of the Rem 3700 is that it can replace bin sweeps. When properly coupled onto the sump system of a grain bin, the Rem 3700 will transfer grain directly into a waiting cart or semi trailer.

 

The first 50 Rem 3700 Grainvacs sold will include a racing style jacket and hat for the customer.
