Single Leg Tooth Quote Questionnaire

Print the questionnaire and then fax to Rem (306-773-1188)

Single leg teeth come in many shapes and forms. In order for us to provide a proper quotation we must receive a drawing to quote from. When producing your drawing, use the picture below to guide you in deciding which dimensions are most important.

This picture shows a very basic tooth. Your design may vary greatly from this one.

It will also be very useful if you can describe to us how the tooth will be mounted, i.e., clips or bolts, etc.

When selecting dimensions and material size and type, keep the following in mind:

Wire Diameter

  • Most Rem single teeth are made from wire diameters between 0.156" and 0.375"
  • The greater the wire diameter used, the larger the coils and loops must be. As a guide:
    • Full Coils, min coil diameter = 4 x wire diameter (some restrictions apply)
    • For Loops and hooks, preferred inside radius = 1.5 x wire diameter

Material

  • Rem normally uses 3 kinds of material for teeth.
    • Class II OT - Most common, strongest, best wear characteristics.
    • Class I OT - Slightly better forming characteristics than Class II OT, but lower strength and wear characteristics.
    • Hard Drawn - Cheaper wire, lower strength and wear characteristics, better forming characteristics
